STRONG PARTNERSHIPS
The Campaign for Equal Justice is supported, in part, through financial support from Oregon State Bar and the Oregon Law Foundation. Oregon State Bar Sections contributed almost $40,000 to the Campaign in 2010-2011. The Oregon State Bar House of Delegates has adopted a resolution calling for adequate funding for legal aid. That resolution can be found here.
In addition, many county and regional bar organizations make financial contributions to the Campaign. Last year, the Multnomah Bar Association contributed $30,000 to assist with funding the Volunteer Lawyers Project in Multnomah County. The Marion County Bar Association has contributed for many years running, along with the Coos County Bar, the Lane County Bar Association and the Jackson County Bar Association, to name a few.
The Campaign receives widespread support from members of Oregon Women Lawyers and the Oregon Trial Lawyers. In 2010-2011, OWLS members contributed almost $157,000 to the Campaign; OTLA members contributed almost $119,000.
Oregon’s legal aid programs and the Campaign thank our partner bar organizations for their terrific support for legal aid!
